Please read through this for answers to the questions I get asked the most. The top part of this page pertains more to those who haven’t yet placed a deposit.
Can I call you? I don’t see a phone number on your website.
The best way for me to communicate is via email. I do get many emails and being able to reference our prior conversation is invaluable. Keeping track of each customers wishes is one of my priorities and having a email thread to refresh my memory is invaluable. It is possible that we will “meet” on a different platform like Facebook or Instagram but I will always ask you to email.

Can you tell me exactly what month or as close as possible when I will be able to get my puppy?
I have found that when raising puppies this is a very difficult question to answer. Sometimes your puppy will come available much sooner because of larger size litters than expected or people that are ahead of you on the waitlist not quite ready for their puppy. Other times we might have failed pregnancies, smaller litter sizes or everyone on the waitlist accepts a puppy.
Determining what mother nature holds in her hands can be very difficult. My overall goal is healthy mommies and healthy puppies.

Can I stop by to see if a Doodle is a good fit for our family? Can I come by to see the puppies?
The majority of my dogs are raised in guardian homes where they can get plenty of love and attention. Therefore I don’t have most of my dogs at my home.
I raise the puppies in my home along with my family. I don’t have business hours and am not open to the public. Almost all my customers are from the internet so having my house open to the public is not safe for myself or my children.
Many people today have doodles and many cities have Doodle Romps every few months. This would be a good place to see other doodles and visit with others about their dogs.
If you have a deposit and are coming to pickup your puppy I will schedule your pick up appointment.
I do want you to see them grow and develops so I send bi weekly photos and videos. Often I add the photos/videos to the website or YouTube.

I try to give you a recent health certificate and vet check. After I take the pups to the vet I schedule the actual pick up times. Therefore your exact time will be given a few days prior to meeting your sweetie. I will help you with the best possible match for your family.

I’m so glad you are excited to bring your puppy into your family. Taking photos of wiggly energetic puppies takes time. When I take puppy photos I plan ahead and have extra help to get the best possible photos. Please be patient with us and enjoy the photos/videos of every 7-10 days.

Do we need to Spay/Neuter our puppy?
Yes, puppies are only sold as family pets and must be spayed/neutered by 12 months of age.

Do you recommend training for my puppy?
Yes!! Puppy training is important even for the most avid dog lovers. I suggest whatever method will work for you to inspire you to be the best puppy owner possible. I have laid a foundation for potty training and crate training that is appropriate for your puppy’s age. I also have spent countless hours exposing the puppies to many different situations, sounds, people, textures, car rides, different places in our home, our dogs, nail trims, grooming etc. I encourage you to continue this for the optimal success.
I have come to enjoy a podcast called “Shaped By Dog”. Susan Garrett is the author and shares a lot of really good ideas with a great perspective. She has a gentle and positive approach. Susan offers help in potty training which is one of the more difficult first time puppy owner feats. I HIGHLY recommend listening,

Puppy classes can be invaluable after your puppy has completed its immunizations. YouTube has a lot of great videos for ideas and motivation, and I also can recommend an excellent trainer in the Las Vegas area.
Doodles in general are generally very smart, easy to train, gentle, people pleasers . I think with some consistency and a little effort you will have a well behaved dog for many years to come.

Supplies to get before you bring your puppy home….
Crate- I crate train all my dogs. I want them to have a place that I can put them for safety and security. This can also become a get away for your dog, and they will love to go in. Dogs do not like to poop or pee where they sleep so buy a larger size but section it off (alot of crates have divider panels) so your puppy only has room to stand and turn around in it. When they are just learning I put a towel in their crate with them. As your puppy grows and does not pee on the towel you can make it nicer with a blanket or bed.
Puppy shampoo oatmeal based is my favorite.
Collar and leash (x-small)
Food bowl and water bowl
