Puppy Pick Up Policy
If you have paid a deposit for one of our puppies, and are on a confirmed nursery list you will be invited to come meet and select your puppy on "pick up" day. I take the pups to the vet for their health check and shots. After they have been cleared I schedule the exact pick up times.
I schedule pick up times to allow you plenty of time to play with the puppies and pick according to your spot on the list. I usually schedule pick up appointments on the same day. I will also help with sharing any personality traits to help you make the best pick if you wish.
Your puppy will be ready to leave at this time. When you come to pick up your puppy we ask that you do not visit other litters on the same day, or go places where there may have been dogs who you don’t know (pet stores, parks, rest areas, vet clinics, etc). Please be respectful and don't bring anyone except those in your immediate family. (spouses, children, significant other) If there are any schedule conflicts and you are unable to take your puppy home at that time please let me know ahead of time and arrangements can be made. Any puppy needing to stay longer than 8 weeks of age will be required to pay a boarding fee. Due to my schedule this may not be possible. |
Visitor Policy
The health of our dogs and puppies is important to us so we take every precaution to protect them.
Unfortunately young puppies don't have fully developed immune systems and are susceptible to life threatening illnesses, including Parvo. When diseases like Parvo strike, they can kill a whole litter very quickly. Disease germs can be carries on people's clothing and shoes and even your car tired. For this reason, we ask that you "visit" them through the periodic videos and photos I send. In addition so many of my customers are unknown to me, so for the safety of myself, my children and grandchildren, this works best. |
